As the cultural and liberal capital of Israel, Tel Aviv is a very advanced city in many fields, one of them is the culinary scene.
Besides being home to the best clubs and best restaurants in the country, Tel Aviv is also the capital of vegan cuisine. That’s why it was not a big surprise when the city was recently named as “one of the 10 friendliest vegan cities in the world”, by the British Guardian.
Let’s check out the best vegan restaurants in town:
Nanuchka
Owned by the famous Nana Shraier, the “Nanuchka” is a great Georgian restaurant that proudly presents amazing vegan food with an authentic Georgian atmosphere. For you that don’t fully understand what it means, come by every Sunday evening and see for yourself the live Georgian singer dancing on the bar and the plate breaking ritual.

Bana
Recently opened by a team of nightlife and culinary experts, “Bana” offers a slightly different concept to conventional vegan restaurants. Following these principles creates a unique dining experience starting with the lovely location and continuing with the food.
